Welcome.  People seek out a therapist for many reasons.  Perhaps you are  weary of struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, need support through grief and loss, or are struggling with relationships in your life.  Maybe you’ve recently received a new medical diagnosis, or are struggling to live with a challenging  mental health diagnosis.   Whatever your reason for seeking help, I will greet you with warmth, genuine interest and a commitment to working collaboratively throughout the process of healing, and finding greater happiness and peace.

MEET THERESA

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist residing in the Bay Area, California.  I specialize in doing therapy with many different struggles including anxiety, depression, living with a chronic illness, relationship challenges, and psychotic disorders.  I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families.  I am experienced in the use of a wide variety of ways of working with people. My style as a psychotherapist is warm, informal, and personal.  People frequently say that they appreciate my non-judgmental and accepting attitude, and comment on how safe they feel to be themselves in our sessions.
